The role of a DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) chip is to decode these digital signals into analog current signals for driving audio output devices. The difference in results between different chips is often only about 0.1%, a distinction that most people cannot discern regarding the listening experience.

Independent DAC decoding chip

The highperformance DAC decoding chip built into the KZ AM01 uses the latest manufacturing process, with standby power consumption as low as 10mW/h. (Most decoding chips on the market have an outdated manufacturing process, and even with no load, they have a high power consumption of 40-50mW/h.) This chip provides KZ AM01 with an impressive signal-to-noise ratio of up to 124dB and a dynamic range of 111dB, ensuring a precise one-to-one conversion of digital signals into pure lossless audio quality.

Compatible with most playback devices on the market

KZ AM01 is plug-and-play compatible with various Type-C devices, eliminating the need for complex configurations.
